A2 The Head Pharmacist asks you to justify the use of an expensive new neuroleptic drug. Outline the case you would make giving a specific example and drawing support from research findings.


Section B - Psychiatric Specialties

B1 Critically discuss the contribution of psychodynamic theory and practice to Old Age Psychiatry.

B2 The double misfortune of suffering from Learning Disability and Epilepsy carries particular difficulties. Discuss the relationship between these two conditions and the complications which may arise in their joint management.
