This is a collection
of OSCE questions aimed at those sitting the MRCPsych OSCE exam. All
the questions are downloadable as Adobe Acrobat files.
These OSCEs do not use the same format as
the Royal College. The format of the trickcyclists.co.uk
OSCEs is discussed here, and they have a number of advantages over other
formats:
- Explicit instructions
- Full details for examiners (and simulated patients)
- Consistent marking scheme (explained on the Local
OSCE Exam page)
Previously, the format of the OSCEs on the Trickcyclists website was slightly
different, and often included more detailed 'hint sheets'. The old
style OSCEs are no longer available.

There is extensive information
on preparing for the CASC here.
Dr John Graham, who sat the Spring 2003 OSCE
(and passed!) has added an excellent account of
his experiences, which makes excellent (and easy) reading.
Dr Albert Michael (author of 'OSCEs
in Psychiatry') has provided a summary of
all stations that have occurred in the OSCE exams so far.
