Trickcyclists.co.uk: Start here for the MRCPsych Exam

Trickcyclists.co.uk is a free resource for psychiatry trainees who are studying for their membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. The site offers notes for the exams, advice on the Clinical Assessment of Skills and Competencies (CASC) Exam, more OSCEs than any other web resource, MCQs, PMPs, and the most complete listing of MRCPsych courses on the web.

Updated OSCEs:

It is hoped that linked stations will be added in the same format as the older OSCEs. However, this is a time-consuming process and it may be some time before linked stations amass in number.

Course updates:

27/4/12: New dates for the CASC training and Statistics & Research Methods courses at the Cambridge Course.

27/4/12: Courses section has been revised, with updated dates (where available). Old courses have been removed.

23/2/12: PsychEvidence online course is offering a free course taster. Follow the link for details.

23/2/12: PsychInterview online course now has 10 new training videos, to give a total of 56.

MRCPsych Examinations:

The College has changed the format of postgraduate exams. You can read details of the new exams here.

UPDATE: The College have published an updated candidate guide to the CASC. Within it, they have stated that all stations carry equal weight. Therefore, you cannot fail the CASC because you fail one single station.
